Homeward Bound Mar 12-13
Saturday Mar 12 was warm and sunny. We had our last breakfast on our balcony, as we had for every morning of this trip. After that we packed our camera gear and dive gear, went to the Dive Friends station at Port Bonaire to return our weights and settle up for 42 tank fills, and then drove to Kralendijk to walk around and have lunch at El Mundo where we had a nice chat with the owner Oliverio. Our flight from Flamingo International Airport left on time, landing in Atlanta about 7 pm. We checked into our hotel (Embassy Suites) and had dinner at the bar and fun conversation with Eunice. We had an early start Sunday morning, getting to the airport by 6:30 am for our 8:00 am flight which was also on time. On the way home from Indianapolis Airport we stopped to pick up Sancho who was staying with Suzanne and Steve. Coincidentally Sancho's mother Cindra and his half-sister Talli were there for the two weeks Sancho was there. He was happy to see us but also having a blast with Mom and Sis.

Above: Early Sunday Morning - after check-in and security we had breakfast at Cafe Intermezzo in Terminal 2 of Atlanta Airport. This is a restaurant in a bookstore and for an airport restaurant it is very good. On another trip we had dinner there. Below left: Sancho (with red collar), his mother Cindra (foreground) and half-sister Talli. Talli is about 13 months old. Below right: In the car, on the way home, Sancho is tired and not happy to leave Mom and Sis.
