Mar 10
The photo to the left shows a Tropical Mockingbird outsite our kitchen window who just caught a bug for breakfast. The day started off cloudy with a light drizzle after a night-long rain. And the water was pretty choppy with swells. So we decided, as the sky cleared, to take a drive to Lac Cai and do some photography and videography. So we start with a Donkey along the road and Goats grazing just outside the Flamingo Airport fence. This followed by two shots of an Egret, then a Heron, next Laughing Gulls, a Flamingo in one of the salt evaporation ponds and then a Sanderling among the salt foam at the perimeter of the pond. Our afternoon dive was at the Yellow Submarine site with the intent of finding a Batfish and Seahorse there (in the shallows). No luck, but I took a few photos and took some artistic license - resulting in the last four photos below.
