Mar 01
Tuesday this March 1, 2016, or more correctly Super Tuesday of primary voting back home. Linda and I had two very nice dives - the morning dive at "The Cliff" and the afternoon dive at Te Amo Beach. The first two photos below are of the Tropical Mockingbird who seems to be coming by on a regular basis.
The Cliff
We like to visit "The Cliff" dive site in the morning to optimize lighting for video and photography. As one moves away from shore the bottom slopes downward gently until there is an abrupt 30-foot drop after which the bottom contines to drop to "the deep." Left: Linda examining the the wall of coral. When above the wall and looking out, into the deep, the morning sun is at your back lighting the coral and fish agains a blue background. The photos below (left-right, top-down) show a Parrotfish, coral, Four-eyed Butterfly Fish and a Filefish.
Te Amo Beach
The afternoon dive was at Te Amo Beach. There was a slight current to the south so we started off heading north and did a slow drift back after about 30 minutes. From top-to-bottom and left-to-right we have: a Porgyfish, a Green Turtle, a Filefish (who followed us for about 15 mintutes or so), a Trunkfish, a Tang, a Bermuda Chub and finally a Flounder - it is really there.
