I want to
July 13
Above are some shots from our balcony. The top panel is a panorama using my Nikon point-and-shoot. The middle and bottom panels were taken with my Nikon D800 (DSLR) and a 70-300mm zoom. The middle panel was shot at 300mm and shows the salt piles south of us and several miles away at the Cargill Solar Salt Works. The bottom panel is looking south - shot at the 70mm setting.
To the left and above: Squid. There were about a dozen and they followed us at times. Below left: sharp-tail eel and below right: sand dollar
These photos were taken at the Cha Cha Cha Beach site during our first dive of this trip. Earlier in the day we went to the Dive Friends Shop across from the airport and less than a mile north of the Bellafonte. We were both happy with the dive - technically very good and we saw some interesting creatures, including the two grunts below who had issues with each other. Scroll down further for a photo of a West Indian Sea Egg and references.
