An interesting scene played out this morning in front of the Bellafonte. I took these photos from our balcony. Around 7 am (local) this morning a Dutch Coast Guard boat passed by heading south to north followed by a tugboat towing a tanker (Curoil 1). The Coast Guard boat moved on but the tug stopped in front of the Bellafonte and then positioned itself to rotate the tanker. The top photo shows the start of that maneuver. The tanker and tug then started to continue moving in the same direction (north) as shown in the bottom photo - the tug is on the other side of the taker towards the rear of the tanker. The tanker and tug eventually stopped at the pier used by the airport to accept jet fuel from tanker.

Our dives of the day were at Cha-Cha-Cha (morning) where we saw a Jellyfish and our little Blenny again and the afternoon dive was at Te Amo where we once again saw the Green Turtle.
We were surprised yesterday to hear from Sara Matera, General Manager of the Bellafonte, that the Bonaire Tourism office would be presenting us with a 10 year Bonaire ambassador certificate and medals. The presentation was made this afternoon and the news will appear on the Tourism Website the Bonaire Reporter.
