The morning was nice and sunny. Sunrise and sunset occur at approximately 7 am and 7 pm. Nice and civilized. I took some bird photos and post this one of a Bare-eyed pigeon.

Our morning, and as it turned out only dive of the day, was at the Something Special site, about a 1/2 north of the pier. The dive was pleasant (see two photos below- the Tarpon was about 5-foot long). But about 50 minutes into our dive a large cruise ship that was docked at the pier turned on its engines to run generators. The noise we were hearing was almost unbearable. A photo of the offending cruise ship passing our balcony later in the day below. We got out about 10 minutes later. We we were taking off our equipment we struck up a fun conversation with a very nice couple from Canada (Northwest Territories province).

We decided to forgo an afternoon dive.
