I took these two photos in the morning off of our balcony, as well as the bottom left photo - wind surfers.Bottom right - a wall hanging in the penthouse made with drift wood.
After a nice breakfast (thanks to Linda) the two of us prepared our camera gear and dive gear. The photo to the left shows my Subal housing for the Nikon D200 dSLR and 12-24mm zoom lens. Linda also has an underwater housing for her Sony video camera. We both removed all o-rings, cleaned them and coated them with a dab of silicone grease before re-inserting.
After all that we went to the Dive Friends shop down the road to sign up for unlimited air for two weeks, got our weights and paid the Stinapa Marine Park fee for 2015 (only $25). We returned to the aparrment, gathered up our equipment, and took our first dive at around 2 pm at the Cha-Cha-Cha Beach. The first dive is usually to get re-oriented so we didn't take too many photos or video clips. We were also getting used to our new buoyancy control jackets.
After our dive we cleaned our equipment, returned to the penthouse and showered. We were happy to find out that the local cable TV carries US networks so we watched the Colts-Broncos play-off game which the Colts won. That explains the logo on the Spotted Goatfish in case you were wondering. We feasted on meatballs and fries while watching the game.
