The morning dive was at Te Amo Beach. There was a lot of water movement and the visibility was not all that great in places. Still, a nice dive. Photo to left taken near the end of the dive.

This afternoon's dive was at Cha-Cha-Cha Beach. To the right, a Three-Rowed Sea Cucumber (Isostichopus badionotus) about 2 feet (60 cm) long. This is one of the more colorful sea cucumbers that we've encountered in Bonaire. More info here.

Below are some photos of an underwater sculpture, at this site at a depth of about 20 feet, depicting Bonairian cooking implements that was dedicated in June of 2008. It didn't take long for reef fish to take over the structure according to this article (page 6) in the Bonaire Reporter. In October 2008, Tropical Storm Omar hit the island and the sculpture was overturned.
The full moon was bright at 6 am. I shot this photo from the dock in front of the Bellafonte. Full disclosure - I took a photo of the moon at a focal length of 300mm, cropped that and superposed that on a photo of the scene at 70mm focal length.

The Bellafonte is just about 1/4 mile south of the end of the Bonaire Airport runway (only one) and at that end (just 200 or so feet from the shore) people often gather to watch the KLM Airbus flights come in from Amsterdam. I walked to the runway to get a photo of the sign on the fence at the end of the runway and also took a photo of the trees across the road from the sign.
