The day started warm and sunny and we had some nice birds visit the trees just off our balcon - two parakeets and two troupials (photos below). The troupial is part of the oriole family of birds.

After breakfast, we drove to the Dive Friends shop to sign in for this trip. This includes buying the yearly Bonaire Marine Park dive tag and making a security deposit. We do two dives a day, each lasting a little over an hour, and we each use up most of the air in a filled tank per dive.

Our first dive was at Cha-cha-cha Beach. We saw a Permit, Barracuda, Parrotfish, etc. It was a great first dive. After getting back, we enjoyed some cold Amstel Brights on our balcony.
I took this photo of goatfish. I positioned myself over an artificial dark surface and looked up. It almost looks like these fish are flying. Goatfish have two barbels, whiskers, under their chins that they use to root small critters out of the sand.
Linda posted two videos to her YouTube channel. This first is one of me diving. The second is one of an octopus hiding inside a coral that reminded Linda of Jabba the Hut.
Now for those Birds
